Let me give you the basics, I'm Dee from Atlanta, and I am type 1 and am 38 years young. Well my first day of treatment is tomorrow at 9:30 and I am concerned about the side effects that I heard about and have read on a few blogs.
I think that this is going to be good to help me to get through the treatment of 48 weeks I have ahead of me. During my blogs I am not going to focus on the length of my treatment...but just take one week at a time. I figure if this is the worst thing I will ever have to experience in life...then I'm doing good. They say that people with my type (type 1) it is a 50/50 success rate. I'M GOING TO BE IN THE 50% THAT WORKS. Power of positive thinking...that's my plan!
My boyfriend is going with me tomorrow to get trained to give me my shots, because frankly I am just way to big a punk to do it myself. So yeah I am concerned about that to. I hate it when a licensed nurse gives me a shot or has to take blood...let alone my plumber boyfriend. Lol. But he is truly a godsend.
